Our CSR policy based on the Companies Act, 2013 and rules made under. This policy is formulated and suggested by the CSR Committee and adopted by appointed Board of Directors. The Board may or due to some recommendation by the CSR Committee can amend or alter this CSR Policy when needed.
Corporate Social Responsibility Activities
The Company based on the advice of its CSR Committee and with required approval of the Board, can adopt any of the following activities, as crucial part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, which are characterized in Schedule VII of the Companies Act 2013.
- Eliminating poverty, malnutrition, hunger and encouraging best sanitation and quality drinking water for all.
- Encouraging quality education; encompassing special education. Enhancing employment opportunities vocal skills for women, elderly and differently able individuals.
- Boosting gender equality, empowering women, developing homes and hostels for orphans and women; establishing old age homes, day care centres and various other facilities for aged citizens and taking measures for lessening the cases of inequalities faced by economically and socially backward groups.
- Promoting environmental sustainability, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, ecological balance, agro forestry, bettering quality of soil, air and water & conservation of natural resources.
- Security of national heritage, promoting art and culture including restoration of valuable artistic creations, buildings and sites of historical importance; developing public libraries, uplifting development of traditional arts and handicrafts
- Taking proper measures for providing advantages to war widows and their dependents and armed forces veterans.
- Promoting rural sports, nationally acknowledged sports, olympic sports and paralympics sports.
